MCT launches new portal of Science and Technology
The Portal of Science and Technology the first one of this kind in Mozambique and was developed by Mzbusiness.com (certified partner of the Oracle) for the Ministry of Science and Technology (MCT), that intends with this powerful tool to systemize the inquiry and to converge the results to a common repository, and thus to contribute for the construction of the Knowledge Society.
Services
Besides the information about the investigation projects, the portal presents services. The portal will provide electronic services implemented based on the tools available in Oracle Application Server and Oracle Workflow.
- Fundo de Investigao sobre a Pobreza (FIP)
This service allows the citizen to subject proposals and to monitor the traineeship of the same approvals.
- Register domain name
With this service, the portal users can request online to register .mz domains names.
- Submission of the declaration for updating the data of Urbane Buildings or even Requests of execution for small constructions and 6th category reparations, between others. These two last electronic services have the collaboration of the Town Hall of the Maputo City.
Other functionalities
The portal has also other interactive functionalities incorporated, like:
- Forum discussion about Science and Technology;
- Inquiries;
- Science and Technology search engine;
- RSS (Rich Site Summary or Really Simple Syndication)
The portal is in Portuguese and English.
